I don't think anyone visits meta any more :-(, but I'll make a proposal anyway about how to get more traffic. We need to broaden the scope to include questions like these. Here, the question is pretty much, I have a specific problem, what's a hack I can use?

  2. I would be willing to experiment with life hacking questions—as dubious as I find the term.

The part we'll have to remain vigilent to as a community is are we answering real questions that people have, will be searching for on the Internet, and can answer better than any existing site. In other words: are we making Internet better?

Agreed- a lot of life hacking questions will be relevant. We'll still need to close the poor quality ones, but I think there is mileage here. – Rory Alsop♦ Dec 5 '12 at 8:08
